I designed the lower part of the hat to be longer and stretchier around the ears. This helps the hat sit securely instead of riding up when a child is moving, playing or walking outdoors.<\/p>\n

The outer layer is loopback cotton and the inner layer is soft jersey cotton. Both contain 95% cotton and 5% elastane, creating a comfortable, flexible fit for everyday wear during the transitional seasons.<\/p>\n

I recommend choosing the size by your child\u2019s actual head circumference rather than age alone. Measure around the widest part of the head, across the forehead, above the ears and around the back of the head.<\/p>\n

Fabric, pompom and matching accessories<\/h2>\n

Outer layer: 95% cotton, 5% elastane loopback knit. Inner layer: 95% cotton, 5% elastane jersey knit.<\/p>\n

The hat is finished with a faux-fur pompom. You can also pair it with a matching double-layer neck warmer<\/a> or double-layer triangle scarf<\/a> in the same colour code.<\/p>\n
