The Small Pompoms Baby Balaclava for Autumn & Spring is a two-layer cotton balaclava designed for cooler autumn and spring days. You can choose the fabric colour, size and decorative pompom option when ordering, making it easy to create a style that suits your child.

The balaclava is made from two layers of cotton knit fabric, without additional insulation. The fabric composition is 95% cotton and 5% elastane. The breathable cotton helps your child stay comfortable without overheating while playing outside, walking or going to nursery.

Why choose a baby balaclava?

When designing my balaclavas, I focus first on a comfortable fit. This model sits close to the face, helping the ears remain covered instead of becoming exposed while the child moves.

The extended neck stays tucked inside the jacket while your child runs or plays. In most cases, an additional scarf is not needed, and there is no open gap between the hat and the jacket.

The balaclava is easy to put on, making it practical for toddlers as well as older children. One item covers the head, ears and neck, so getting ready for a walk or nursery is simpler.

When do I recommend wearing this balaclava?

I recommend this two-layer baby balaclava for cool spring and autumn weather until the first frosts, approximately from 0°C to +16°C (32°F to 61°F).

This temperature range is only a guide. Some children warm up more quickly, while others prefer a warmer hat. Your child’s activity level, wind and humidity should also be considered.

How to choose the right size

I recommend choosing the size according to your child’s actual head circumference rather than age alone. Measure around the widest part of the head: across the forehead, above the ears and around the back of the head. The measuring tape should sit close to the head without being pulled tight.
